  • Introduction:
The climate in Taiwan is warm and humid. The mountainous terrain and lush vegetation make it ideal for snakes. They can sometimes be seen in the mountains. Even though many people do not like snakes, they do have significant medicinal value and are an important part of the ecosystem. Because of habitat destruction, malicious killing, illegal trading and introduction of alien species, some species of snakes are endangered and need our help to conserve them, to stop them from becoming extinct.

  • Introduction:
Aquatic Insects live some portion of their life cycle in the water. In order to live in different types of water condition, their morphology has to adapt in various characteristic, such as predaceous diving beetles which have swimming legs, so they can swim very quickly for hunting food in water. Another problem is aquatic insects must overcome how to get oxygen while they are under water. Biological gills, Breathing Tubes, Air Bubbles and Plastrons are adaptations to supplement cuticular respiration. By means of these characteristics, aquatic insects could be the biological indicators of watershed health.
Let’s go view on how aquatic insects survive in water; what is the connection between aquatic insects and the whole nature life cycle in this exhibit.
